ABOUT
US -- YOUR MARSHALL COUNTY TN RED CROSS AT WORK
- Helping families who require assistance as a
result of fires or floods, the Red Cross provides much needed food,
clothing, and shelter to those who have lost their home to a
disaster. Without this help these families would have nowhere else to
go.
- The
Red Cross also supplies needed refreshment to the firefighters and
other first responders who work so hard to assist families and put out
structure and woodland fires throughout the county.
- The Marshall County Red Cross partners with
the Parks and Recreation Department to provide Marshall County children
important swimming and water safety courses.
- The Marshall County Red Cross chapter
continues to provide ongoing CPR/AED and First Aid training to local
citizens.
- Volunteers from the chapter provide
Instruction in Community Disaster Education to local churches,
businesses and families to better prepare our community for any
emergency type situation.
- The Marshall County Chapter provides 365
days-a-year, 24 hours-a-day emergency response to our US military
families in Marshall County. Emergency Communication is provided to
these families at no charge if a death or serious emergency occurs and
the serviceman or servicewoman is needed at home.
- The Marshall County Chapter also supports
the Tennessee Valley Blood Region of the American Red Cross in
promoting blood drives throughout the county.
